Budenia – Dental Assistant
Hello, I'm Budenia! I have worked in the orthodontic field for the last 8 years. I became interested in working in orthodontics when I was a teenager and had braces myself. I love watching my patients grow and change throughout their treatments, and seeing how happy they are when their braces are removed and they smile for the first time. We have some of the greatest patients. They are all so kind and thoughtful, and excited to be here. It makes me feel thankful everyday that I chose this profession. Our team is also wonderful. Each member of the team works together to help our patients and everybody is so thoughtful and caring.
I have lived in Nashville my whole life, and am still proud to call this area my home. I have one son, Kyle, who I enjoy taking to the park and spending time with as much as possible. I also like movies and trying to fix the different foods that I see while watching The Food Network. I am the president of the PTA at my son's school, and I enjoy volunteering at my son's school every Friday.
Selena – Registered Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Selena and I have worked in the orthodontic field for 10 years. I love working with children and try to make a positive difference in each child's life. I like that I am able to get to know each child on a personal level because we get to see them on a monthly basis. They really make me smile! Dr. Ruth is such a wonderful person and an outstanding orthodontist. The entire staff works really well together. We are more than just team members and coworkers; we are a family, too.
I was born and raised in Springfield and live here with my children. I have a daughter named McKenna and a son named Layne. My kids are the highlight of everyday of my life. When I have free time I enjoy photography, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.
Lori – Patient Coordinator
Hello, I'm Lori and I take care of our patients' scheduling, billing, and insurance needs. I also handle the marketing and advertising needs of the office. I love that I get to take part in creating new smiles and watching newfound self-confidence grow in every patient we see. It is a pleasure to work with a team that is dedicated to providing patients with a quality orthodontic experience at each visit.
I am originally from Brentwood and have lived in Nashville since 1999. I have a beautiful daughter named Teighlor. In my free time I enjoy watching movies, shopping, and traveling.
Linda – Dental Assistant
Hi, I'm Linda and I take impressions, pour and trim study models, fit and cement bands, place brackets, tie arch wires, remove braces, make retainers, and take X-rays. I wore braces myself and became very interested in the process. I love seeing the joy of a beautiful smile at the end of treatment and the way their self-esteem is boosted. Dr. Ruth is always pleasant with a great smile. We all work together well because everyone pitches in when they see a need.
I grew up as an Air Force brat and moved around a lot. I now live in Franklin with a wonderful husband, two great children, ten grandchildren, a golden retriever, and a 12-year-old alley cat. I love reading, sewing, quilting, and going for walks. I am a soccer grandma, am active in my church, and am a judge for Destination Imagination.
Heather – Orthodontic Assistant
I assist Dr. Ruth with all aspects of patient care, from helping to put on braces to taking them off at the end of a successful treatment. I had braces when I was younger, so I know what it feels like to have a beautiful smile. I want to help everyone have that same experience! It is great to see a patient’s confidence improve as their smile does, and each individual’s personality is reflected in their smile. I feel good about making such a positive difference in people’s lives and am proud to work with such a wonderful team.
I am a Nashville, TN native and love shopping, going to the movies, and having girl time.
