To the Braces by Dr. Ruth Family:
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice, and you may have seen this during your visits to our office.
We follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect you and the Braces by Dr. Ruth team.
NEW PROTOCOL FOR YOUR UP COMING VISIT:
- Please brush before coming to your appointment- The toothbrush station is temporarily closed.
- Arrive wearing a mask
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment
- When you get to the office for your appointment call (615) 321-3663 and let us know where you have parked
- A BBDR team member will come to your car, take the patient’s temperature, and will escort the patient (only) from the car to the office.
- You will use hand sanitizer once you enter the office.
- Then you will rinse with the provided mouthwash.
- If the patient is unable to schedule the next appointment, the patient will FaceTime parent/guardian to schedule.
- Minors will then be escorted back to their car
Surgically Clean Air
As an extra effort to ensure the safety of our patients and team, we've installed multiple Surgically Clean Air purifiers throughout our office.
Surgically Clean Air's medical grade purifiers use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The six (6) stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in inside workspaces. The negative ion generator makes indoor feel more pure, clean and energized to help combat fatigue. For an air purifier to deliver its benefits throughout the indoor space it needs to move large volumes of air through its filtration system effectively without impacting those people that are closest to it or being too loud.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and everyone safe.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming YOU back.
